Congratulations to Joel Taylor, 2023 ISA World Para Surfing Champion!

A professional bodyboarder at the time, Joel sustained a spinal cord injury in a horrific wipeout at Hawaii’s Pipeline in 2001. He was paralysed instantly from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair for life.

After more than two decades out of the ocean following his injury, Joel discovered para surfing in 2022. Just 12 months later, he is the 2023 Australian Champion and ISA World Champion!

Joel founded Unite “just for fun” in 2004, a far cry from the international renowned brand we’ve become. With him still at the helm, we celebrate our 20th anniversary next year.

To celebrate his World Title and gold medal for Australia, in collaboration with our friends at DRK LBL, we are proud to release three Green and Gold Trademark T-Shirts - limited to just 50 Tees each. All proceeds go to Joel and his goal to win more gold for his country in 2024 and beyond.

Domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post, international orders ship via Australia Post. Australian orders should be received within 1 – 5 business days, please allow 2 – 4 business days for International orders to be delivered.
